  • The National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) has signed MoU with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to work in the field of Renewable Energy. Both the entities will explore opportunities to generate low carbon and RE RTC (round the clock) captive power.
  • India’s first Food Security Museum was inaugurated at Tamil Nadu’s Thanjavur. It was inaugurated by the Union minister of consumer affairs, food & public distribution, Piyush Goyal. It is established by the Food Corporation of India and Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museums, Bengaluru at the cost of Rs 1.10 crore.
  • Awards and Recognition: Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank (KVGB): It has won the best RRB under the 'Regional Rural Banks' category award by Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM). It has won the award for launching initiatives digital financial services domain.
