Fisheries Awards 2021

Current Context: The Department of Fisheries, which comes under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, awarded best performing States for 2021-22 with Fisheries Awards 2021.

• The awards were held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha to mark the celebrations of World Fisheries Day.

• Best Inland District: Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh
