- The RBI has raised the threshold limit to maintain the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) for banks. The LCR is maintained on the deposits and other ‘extension of funds’ which are received from non-financial small business customers. The threshold limit on LCR has been raised from Rs 5 crore to Rs 7.5 crore, which will be applied to Commercial Banks, RRBs, Payments Bank and Local Area Banks.
