‘Banking on Electric Vehicles in India’ Report: It was released by NITI Aayog in partnership with US-based non-profit organizations Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), and RMI India. The report defines the need and importance of the inclusion of Electric Vehicles in RBI priority-sector lending guidelines. It defined that banks and NBFCs have the ability to achieve an electric vehicle (EV) financing market size of Rs 40,000 crore by 2025 and Rs 3.7 lakh crore by 2030.
