Current Context: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) launched a new project named ‘Digital Government Mission’.

• The project is the next phase of e-governance.
• The ‘Digital Government Mission’ aims to boost the services delivery to the citizens using various advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
• The citizens will be able to avail various government services without applying or waiting for a long time as the technologies will identify the eligible citizens itself.
