- DRDO in partnership with IIT Delhi conducted the first successful test of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) link between Paryagraj, UP and Vindhyachal, UP, with a distance of more than 100 km. The QKD is the secure communication method that can implement cryptographic protocol by using quantum mechanics. Due to this, the parties at both ends can produce and share a random secret key which is known only to them to enhance secured communications.

- RBI has asked a specific class of NBFCs to compulsory implement 'Core Financial Services Solution (CFSS)' by 30th Sep 2025 which will allow them to offer a seamless customer interface and have a centralized database. The NBFCs from the middle and upper layer with 10 and more 'fixed point service delivery units' as of 1st Oct 2022 will be required to implement CFSS compulsorily.
