- The biodegradable nanoparticles which are an alternative to chemical-based insecticides are created by IIT Kanpur. The biodegradable nanoparticles will help to protect crops from bacterial and fungal illnesses. It is named biodegradable-carbonoid-metabolite (BioDCM). IIT Kanpur collaborated with C. Kannan and D. Mishra of ICAR-Indian Institute of Rice Research, and also with R Balamurugan and M. Mandal of the Hyderabad University’s School of Chemistry to develop this biodegradable nanoparticle.

- The ‘Sagar Parikrama’ to showcase Marine fisheries sector wealth from 5th March 2022.
