- Under this program financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to Rs, 10 lakh will be provided to at least 100 SC/ST students in each Taluk in the state.
- The government is creating several programs to help students develop socially and academically. 100 new hostels are being built for SC/ST students in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hubballi-Dharwad, Kalaburagi, and Mysuru.
- An order was issued to provide families living below the poverty line in the SC/ST communities free supplies of 75 units per month. The communities have also been given Rs 15 lakh for land ownership and Rs 2 lakh for house construction.
- The Bhovi Development Corporation has been instructed to prepare a Rs 175 crore plan. In addition to a bank loan of up to Rs 10 lakh, a subsidy is given to SC/ST Stree Shakti Sanga under the Streesamarthya Scheme.
- The Karnataka government has also launched a training program in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Banglore to support SC/ST women graduates in developing their skills as entrepreneurs.
