- The international conference was organized at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru.
- The conference was conducted by the India Foundation, in collaboration with NIMHANS and was supported by the Ministry of AYUSH.
- The primary objective of this international conference was to bring together eminent researchers, scholars, and inventors in the fields of Physics, Neuroscience, Biology, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), on a single platform.
- While attending the event at the NIMHANS, Minister of AYUSH Sonowal also inaugurated the Center of Excellence (CoE) project as a part of the “Ayusrswasthya Yojana”.
- The main aim of the CoE will be to conduct clinical trials in neuropsychiatric disorders and to establish the safety, efficacy, and proposed mechanism of Integrated Yoga and Ayurveda (IYAM) treatment principles.
- NIMHANS was established in 1925 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and is the apex center for neuroscience and mental health education. The current Director of NIMHANS is Dr. Pratima Murthy.
