The world's first photonic-based, fault-tolerant quantum computer will be built and commercialised by Xanadu Quantum Technologies Inc., a Toronto-based Canadian quantum computing company, thanks to a new federal investment of 40 million Canadian dollars (USD 32 million), according to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
