HUDCO Collaborates with Gujarat Govt to Finance Housing & Urban Infrastructure Projects

Current Context: The Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO) has entered into a pact with the Gujarat government to invest up to Rs 14,500 crore for financing housing and urban infrastructure projects.

• The Memorandum of Understanding between HUDCO and the Gujarat government was signed on 27th December 2023, in New Delhi.
• The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by HUDCO Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Kulshrestha and state officials in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
• This collaboration is part of the state government’s intention for overall development of Gujarat by implementing various housing and infrastructure projects.
