  • 6 September 2025, Numaligarh, Assam – Engineers India Limited (EIL) completed India’s first bamboo‑based bio‑refinery for Assam Bio Ethanol Private Limited (ABEPL). Capacity: 49,000 Tonnes Per Annum (TPA) bio‑ethanol, 11,000 TPA acetic acid, 19,000 TPA furfural from 3 lakh TPA bamboo feedstock using Chempolis OY technology.

  • 26 August – 4 September 2025, Kochi, Kerala – Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA), Government of India (GoI) organised the 5th edition of Lok Samvardhan Parv under the Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan (PM VIKAS) scheme. Aim: Provide minority community artisans, weavers, craftspersons, and culinary experts a platform for market linkages, visibility, and economic empowerment.
  • 3–5 November 2025, Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi – Department of Science & Technology (DST), with 12 scientific ministries/departments & the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA), to host the first‑ever Emerging Science, Technology & Innovation Conclave (ESTIC‑2025).
  • 9 September 2025, New Delhi – Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved the acquisition of Dana Incorporated’s Off‑Highway (Dana OH) business by Allison Transmission Holdings Inc. (Allison). Dana OH designs and supplies drivetrain systems, transmissions, and propulsion solutions for construction, mining, agriculture, and forestry, with 3 subsidiaries in India.
  • 9 September 2025, Rizhao, China – China Rocket Co. Ltd. launched Group‑05 of the Geely Future Mobility Constellation (GEESATCOM), placing 11 Low Earth Orbit (LEO) communication satellites. Operated by Geespace, the constellation now has 52 satellites in orbit. Aim: Support satellite Internet of Things (IoT), inter‑satellite links, and applications in intelligent connected vehicles, marine fisheries, agriculture, energy, environment, and logistics.
  • 8 September 2025, Hyderabad, Telangana – Government of Telangana (GoT) signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Australia’s Deakin University to establish an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Centre of Excellence. Aim: Advance AI solutions for real‑world challenges in healthcare, education, governance, agriculture, and support micro, small & medium enterprises (MSMEs).
International:
  • 8 September 2025, New Delhi – Government of India (GoI) and Government of the State of Israel signed a Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT), Israel being the first Organisation for Economic Co‑operation and Development (OECD) member to adopt India’s new model.
Banking:
  • 8 September 2025, Hyderabad – Viyona Fintech received approval from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to operate as a Third‑Party Application Provider (TPAP). The licence enables it to offer Unified Payments Interface (UPI) services in partnership with banks.
MoUs:
  • 8 September 2025, New Delhi – Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoL&E) signed MoUs with Mentor Together & Quikr India Private Limited to boost job access and career guidance via the National Career Service (NCS) portal. Mentor Together to mentor 2 lakh youth in Year 1 (1 lakh NCS job seekers + 1 lakh Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Bandhu Rozgar Yojana (PM‑VBRY) entrants) with 24,000+ trained mentors.
  • 6 September 2025, Tokyo, Japan – Government of Meghalaya (GoM), via the Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS), signed an MoU with Japan’s Asean One Co. Ltd. Aim: Train & place 5,000 candidates from Meghalaya in Japan over 5 years (500 in Year 1) in healthcare, caregiving, hospitality, and information technology (IT).
