- Delhi Dialogue-XI is to be held at Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra in New Delhi on 14th Dec 19. The theme for this year’s Delhi Dialogue is “Advancing Partnership in Indo-Pacific”. The Delhi Dialogue-XI is being organized with the assistance of the Research and Information System (RIS) for Developing Countries.
- Ravi Mittal, 1986 batch IAS officer has been appointed as the new Information and Broadcasting Secretary. He has replaced Amit Khare who has been appointed as the new secretary of the Department of Higher Education.

- The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved acquisition of shares of around 9.99% of the equity share capital of SBI General Insurance Company Limited (SBI General Insurance) by Honey Wheat Investment Limited and acquisition of 16.01% paid-up share capital of SBI General Insurance Company Limited (SBI General Insurance) by Napean Opportunities LLP (Napean).
- The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Board of Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) to facilitate the action research and up-scaling of the various technologies and innovative farmer models developed by the ICAR.
