• India is ranked at 51st position for money deposited in Swiss Bank. The ranking data was released in ‘Annual Bank Statistics of 2020’ by the Swiss National Bank (SNB). The list was topped by the United Kingdom.

• The German agrochemicals major named Bayer launched the first-ever yellow watermelon variety called Yellow Gold 48. It was launched under the Seminis brand in India. The Yellow watermelon was developed from superior germplasm under Bayer’s global research and development efforts. It is suitable to be cultivated from October to February and harvesting is suitable from April onwards.
• ‘Khedo Punjab’ Mobile App: It was launched by Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, who is the Minister of Sports and Youth Service in the state government. The app will display all the sports departments and sportspersons on it. The app will allow a current sportsperson to register themselves on it and select the game of their interest and identify international, national and state goals of their interest sports.
