Coal India Ltd (CIL) signed MoU with the Department of Health & Family Welfare, of the Government of Assam. The MoU was signed to enhance health infrastructure at the Silchar Medical College & Hospital, Silchar, which is the only Medical College and Hospital in Barak Valley Region, Assam. The MoU is part of CIL’s CSR initiative and it will grant Rs 5 crores to develop an ICU facility and medical gas pipeline in the Silchar Medical College & Hospital.

It has started operating in Iceland and it will suck the CO2 from the air and will store it underground in the form of rock. It is developed by Climeworks AG in partnership with Carbfix.
