As per a report released by the UK’s Department of International Trade, India will be the world’s third-largest importer by 2050. The country will be having 5.9% of global imports by 2050. It will be following China and the United States.
‘Sarkar Tumachya Dari’ Program: It was launched in Goa by the CM of the state, Pramod Sawant. The program is also known as ‘Government at your doorstep’. The program aims to solve grievances of the people of the state while availing initiatives and schemes of the government. It aims to grant ease in procedural complexities and the representatives of the program will visit rural villages to solve the issues and grievances faced by the people while accessing schemes and initiatives.
The Kotak Mahindra Bank will buy about 9.9% stakes in KFin Technologies Private Limited. The total cost will be Rs 310 crore.

The Kovalam Beach in Tamil Nadu and Eden Beach in Puducherry have received ‘Blue Flag’ certification. With this, the total number of such beaches in India has reached 10 that have received the Blue flag certification.
