• The Indian Navy’s indigenous stealth-guided-missile destroyer named ‘Mormugao’ sailed for the maiden sea trials. It is the second indigenous stealth destroyer under Project 15 B (P15B) class. It will be commissioned in mid-2022.

• The CM of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik inaugurated ‘T-Setu’ which is the longest bridge of the state which is constructed over Mahanadi River at Gopinathpur, Cuttack district of the state. As the bridge is in the shape of the English alphabet ‘T’ the name is thus given as ‘T-Setu’. It is constructed at the funds of Rs 111 crore and is a 3.4 km long and 7.5-meter-wide bridge.

• J&K government signed MoU with University College Birmingham (UCB) at the India Global Forum, Dubai. The MoU was signed to offer better opportunities and have skill development of students in various subjective domains.
