- The Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, launched a newly constructed multi-purpose hall at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Vadnagar, Mehsana in Gujarat. A sum of Rs. 4,61,57,000 was spent on the construction of the hall.
- The second anniversary of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) was celebrated in New Delhi. Around 300 fishers and fish farmers attended the event.
- The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel, inaugurated Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur and Sakti as the 32nd and 33rd districts of the state. Sakti was carved out from the Janjgir-Champa district, and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur was carved out from the Koriya district.
- The two-day U.S.-led Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) ministerial meet was organized in Los Angeles. IPEF is an economic initiative launched by Joe Biden on May 23, 2022. Fourteen countries, Australia, Brunei, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, United States, and Vietnam, took part in IPEF.

- In the event at St. James’s Palace in London, Charles III was proclaimed as Britain's new monarch. From now on he will be known as King Charles. His son, William, also took the title of "Prince of Wales" and is next in line to become the King.
