- Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Communications, Electronics & Information Technology, has opened the AMRPTEX 2023 National Philatelic Exhibition at Delhi's Pragati Maidan.
- Two new Vande Bharat trains were launched by the prime minister at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. The new and improved Vande Bharat Express will run between Mumbai and Sainagar Shirdi as well as Mumbai and Solapur.

- Tata's Air India has signed contracts to purchase around 500 new aircraft at a list price of USD 100 billion. Airbus, a French firm, and Boeing, an American company, will each receive a portion of the contract for about 500 aircraft (USA).
- With current shareholders, Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (KMBL) has signed into legally binding share purchase agreements to buy all of Sonata Finance Pvt Ltd's equity shares for approximately Rs. 537 crore in cash.

- The FĂ©lix Houphout-Boigny-UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) Peace Prize 2022 was presented to Angela Merkel, a former German Federal Chancellor, at a ceremony held in Yamoussoukro, the Ivory Coast's capital. She was given the award in appreciation of her efforts during her time in office to welcome migrants.

- Every year on February 11, people all around the world mark World Unani Day to raise awareness of the provision of healthcare using the Unani system of medicine. Mohammad Ajmal Khan, commonly known as "Hakim Ajmal Khan," was a notable Indian Unani scholar and social reformer. The day also marks the anniversary of his birth. World Unani Day in 2023 will focus on theme "Unani Medicine for Public Health."
