  • The Central Government has approved ‘Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS)’ with a corpus of Rs 945 crore. It will become operational from 1st April 2021 and will be held till 2025. The scheme aims to provide financial support to startups. The scheme will be implemented by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
  • Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change released the ‘National Marine Turtle Action Plan’ and ‘Marine Mega Fauna Stranding Guidelines’ with an aim to acknowledge the need for a conservation paradigm for marine turtles and marine megafauna. The documents will include guidelines to implement conservation actions which will be taken to protect marine turtles and mega fauna.

The TEJAS, Visual Intelligence Tool was launched by Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.
