  • The GOI will be launching the ‘Atmanirbhar Niveshak Mitra Portal’ for hand-holding, information dissemination and facilitation of domestic investors. It will be launched by 1st May 2021. The portal will provide information about policies, approvals, licenses and new initiatives of central and state governments. It is being developed by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
  • Tech giant IBM has partnered with Samagra Siksha Uttarakhand, which is the educational mission of the state to launch the ‘IBM STEM for Girls’ program. The program will be executed for 3 years in 130 secondary schools and higher secondary schools of the state. The program will develop skills and career opportunities for the girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields.
