  • Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated CoE at National Forensic Science University in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It is a research-based CoE and will help Indian youths to get free from their addiction to drugs and narcotics. He also inaugurated the virtual training model on the Investigation of Crime against women for Indian Police.
  • The International platform of the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) called NPCI International Payments Ltd. (NIPL) partnered with the Royal Monetary Authority (RMA) of Bhutan to implement BHIM UPI QR-based payments in Bhutan. This will enhance the cooperation between India and Bhutan as it will allow to build seamless payment infrastructures connectivity between both nations. This will prove beneficial to tourists and businessmen of both nations. The facility is granted under India’s ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy.

A widow must belong to the low-income group with an annual income of up to Rs 5 lakh to claim benefits.
